One of two regional review events which will provide past Tackling Racial Inequalities (TRIF) and Black Leadership Initiative® (BLI) beneficiaries the opportunity to share their views and experiences of TRIF and BLI programmes, share success stories about overcoming challenges and achieving career progression and share good practice around equality and diversity and promoting the race equality agenda.
Participants can:
- Be part of the feedback and consultation process that will inform Department of Communities and Local Government of the impact of sustainable Positive Action programmes
- Find out about the Network for Black Professionals’ plans and priorities in relation to tackling racial inequalities and how bespoke programmes can be rolled out in your organisation
- Learn how to progress your career through our award winning Black Leadership Initiative® programmes
- Participate in our evening seminar: How do we prepare for change caused by the deep budget cuts faced by the public sector?
- Support development of Positive Action programmes for Black and Minority Ethnic communities
Following the review there is the opportunity to stay for a drinks reception, buffet, and a special briefing focusing on the impact of public sector cuts on BME professionals, with great networking opportunities until 8:30pm.
